Connect, Engage, Impact: Become an Outreach Volunteer |
Do you enjoy meeting people and making connections in the community? Senior PharmAssist is looking for Outreach Volunteers to help spread the word about our programs and services throughout Durham.
Outreach Volunteers represent Senior PharmAssist at health fairs, community events, and outreach sites, helping older adults learn about resources that can improve their health and well-being. Volunteers assist with setting up and staffing informational tables, distributing materials, and engaging with community members. No specialized healthcare knowledge is required. We're looking for friendly, dependable individuals who are comfortable transporting and setting up a fold-up table, chairs, and outreach materials at events. Volunteers must have reliable transportation to outreach locations throughout the Durham area.
If you're passionate about helping older adults and serving your community, we'd love to hear from you. Contact Olga Melancon, Development and Communications Director at omelancon@seniorpharmassist.org; 919-956-5812 to learn more about joining our outreach team! |
