Awards Received

Senior PharmAssist has received national, statewide and local recognition for its innovative programming for older adults, since its inception in 1994.

2006: Named co-recipient of the Ernest B. Messer Award by the N.C. Division of Aging and Adult Services

This honor was presented to the Seniors’ Health Insurance Information Program and the Medicare Partners State Level Coordinating Committee, of which, Senior PharmAssist is a member.

2006: Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce’s inaugural “Nonprofit of the Year” Award

 

2000: National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare’s First Place Service to Seniors Award

“In recognition of outstanding contributions made to seniors and their families.”

2000: N.C. Association on Aging’s “Best Practice Model” for North Carolina
